This young, New York area based, alto saxophonist is native of Indianapolis, Indiana. Following in the footsteps of Indianapolis jazz natives such as Freddie Hubbard, Wes Montgomery, James Spalding, Larry Riddley, Slide Hampton, David Baker, J.J. Johnson, Ray Appleton, and others. Mr. Curry provides non-stop musical entertainment to all audiences. The majority of the public sees him perform with the alto saxophone, but other instrument recordings and performances include doubling on the soprano, tenor, baritone saxophones, alto flute, C flute, Bb soprano, bass clarinet, and piano. Curry has claimed numerous solo awards for jazz competitions throughout the country.
